Lodge History
In September 2006
Dave Brown Outfitters purchased Golden Circle Outfitters
and it’s Canadian
assets from DR. Larry Heppler, prior to this purchase,
Golden Circle Outfitters operated Cabri Lodge for
a period of 10 years, with a focus on the renowned
water fowling in the area as this is the staging
area for the Central Flyway.
Prior to Golden Circle Outfitters Operating the
lodge, it was owned and operated by another Outfitter
for a period of 15 years, again the focus of the
hunting on Waterfowl, during this time period many
celebrities hunted from the lodge including two
Saskatchewan Provincial Premiers (Governors) plus
numerous well known NHL Hockey Players, their pictures
still hang on the walls today.
The Lodge itself is a 100 year old farm house
that was owned by the Kilpatrick Family which homesteaded
in the area at the turn of the 20th century the
house was moved into The Town of Cabri (population
400) and eventually used as a Hunting Camp.
Along with the main house the lodge also consists
of an enormous shop or decoy storage area , a deck
which connects the Lodge to the shop and is a great
place to enjoy a “cool one “ at the
end of a good day’s hunt.
In October of 2006 we purchased the neighboring
house which will be renovated this spring and used
for additional lodging for the Fall of 07, we
will also be adding dog kennels which will adjoin
the shop.
Cabri Lodge
Rates
Our rate is $2350 U.S. per person and is
based on double occupancy for 4 nights accommodation
and 3 days of guided Upland and Waterfowl hunting
with 1 guide per 2 hunters if you wish to add an
extra day add $550 per person.
Single Supplement
For those that
wish to hunt by themselves the rate is $3500 US,
and yes you will have your own guide for the duration
of the trip.
Parties of 3
Although we will Guide a party of 3, Dave
Brown Outfitters encourages the 3rd member of your
party tot take advantage of
our single supplement and get his our
her own guide ,as the party will get into a lot
more birds.
From a Safety Stand point, Dave Brown Outfitters
and it’s Guides discourage 3 people shooting
at the same time.
Inclusions
4 night’s accommodations,
all meals, transportation to and from the Lodge
to the field. All game processing, Beer and Wine,
lead shotgun shells for 20, 16 and 12 bore guns.
Exclusions
Transportation from
the airport (Regina or Saskatoon) to the lodge,
Licenses, Gratuities, Liquor, (beer and wine included)
Non-toxic Shotgun shells (available at the lodge
in 12 gauge only) and items of a personnel nature.
Licenses will be purchased in the A.M. of your
hunt
Capacity
Our
Lodge has a capacity of 6 hunters (3 separate parties)
or an intact party of 8
An Intact party of 6 will have the exclusive
use of our services

Step 1.
Choose
your dates (we cannot hunt on Sundays) use Sunday
or Wednesday as your arrival /Travel Day
Step 2.
Contact Dave Brown regarding your dates etc
Step 3.
You will be emailed an
invoice indicating your dates and deposit, payments
to be made via cash or cheque. The balance is payable
upon your arrival Due to our short season and
limited capacity, deposits are non-refundable,
we suggest you purchase cancellation
