We maybe heading out to South Texas for a few days, other than that, we are shifting into training time. With the exception of the loss of Crash and Jasper, it was a great season; we pursued Bobwhites in Oklahoma, Pheasants in Kansas Mearns, Gambels and Scaled Quail in Arizona, last but not least Huns and Sharptails in Saskatchewan , we had some great dog work from both the young and the Old Dogs.

New additions to the team include Martha (English Pointer) Buddy (2 year old English Pointer) and Slick (8 month old Brittany)

We are also excited about the future arrival of “High Plains Santa Cruz” (Cruz) an English Pointer and High Plains Latisha (Tish) a Yellow lab. Puppy

Many improvements and upgrades where made to our lodge last year and we also added a lot more coverts allowing us to always be into fresh birds through out the season.

We also have many returning clients which means we have a few slots left for the 2008 season so if you are thinking about coming up let us know A.S.A.P

Lisa and I will be attending the I.S.E show in Phoenix (March 7th, 8th and 9th) our booth is located along the casting pond, making us easy to find and allowing me to try out a whole bunch of new  fly rods !

This past weekend we attended the first ever Fly-fishing and Wing shooting show in Charlotte NC, DBO was very well received on both fronts.
