setup out side of Richdale |
The Province of Saskatchewan is renowned as
a top Waterfowl destination, and the area
that we operate in offers some of
the best Duck, Goose and Sandhill Crane Hunting
in the World! Our very own.
The Running Hun Lodge is in the heart of the staging
area for the Central Flyway, the waterfowl hunting
can be spectacular or as the D.B.O Staff refers
to it as “epic” and the most
liberal “bag Limits” in North America.
Besides Canada and Snow Geese the region is
renowned for its fantastic White Front or Speckle
Belly Hunting, we also have a large numbers
of Sand Hill Cranes that migrate thru the area
which offer up some great pass shooting opportunities and
the Duck hunting (Mallards, Pintails, Red Heads
and Teal) is outstanding!
Dave Brown Outfitters offers Waterfowl hunts
in con-junction with our Upland Bird Hunts;
we are the first Outfitting Service to do so!
All our goose hunts are A.M. field shoots
from Coffin Blinds, and our Duck hunts are either
over water or in fields and sometimes both!
Duck hunts usually take place in the P.M, over
the course of a shoot it is not uncommon to
have 500-1000 Ducks coming into our decoys.
Note: Waterfowl hunting is a lot better in Saskatchewan therfore we do not offer waterfowl hunts in Alberta
